Established in 1987, Hanna's Candle Company began when Burt Hanna started making potpourri in his home's basement using botanicals collected from his front yard. In 1992 Hanna's began experimenting in the candle business creating the first samples from canning wax purchased from a local grocery store. The Fayetteville, Arkansas company was soon renamed Hanna's Candle Company and has grown into one of the largest privately owned candle manufacturers in the nation*. Burt has been a member of the National Candle Association since 1994. He received the National Candle Association Hall of Fame Award for Special Achievement in the candle industry. Fast forward to 2015, Hanna's launches a new division, WeddingCandles.com. Why you ask? For centuries, candles and weddings have been synonymous. Increasingly weddings are becoming more and more personalized and what better way to showcase that then through the candles and containers Wedding Candles.com has to offer, taking your wedding ceremony from special to spectacular!
